   There was so much cushioning in the shoe it made it uncomfortable. Love the classic look but the fit was terrible.

   I usually wear a 9D, but had to exchange for an 8-1/2D. Only Allen Edmonds runs at true sizes, where I am an 8 1/2D. But they have a separate last for absolutely every shoe size they make.

   Misleading picture on website. Not stylish like in picture and much darker. When you get the shoes, they’re dark brown (no matter if you’re outside or inside), while the website shows tan/light brown. Also, website shows shoes as somewhat penny loafers with smooth edges, while in reality they’re close to be venetian loafers with sharp edges. Very disappointed. Will return it.

   I ordered the J&M Bolton Penny Loafer. It was on sale and there were only a few remaining in my size. However, I was sent the wrong shoes and I was not able to exchange them because they were now out of stock. Returning what I received for refund. Customer service was helpful setting up the return and apologized for the error. Unfortunately, mistakes happen. Zappos did all they could to make it right.

   Usually a 9D, but 8 1/2D in these shoes. Very comfortable and plenty of cushion. Pleasure to wear, I have both models now.

   Bought these for my son who needed a good pair of casual shoes. States shoes are very comfortable and looks forward to wearing them! Liked the classy style too!
